Well almost anyway.. I have yet to paint the bombs and missiles and then there is quite a few decals to fit on those things too. But the big work is done, and another project is coming closer to *mystical sound* finished!

Primed and ready!
The whole box is ready for priming. I made them into a unit of ten with one extra model as the battle standard bearer and the other as the general. The general was given a little conversion and a staggering horse to stand out a bit as the army is very unison.

Teutonic Knights
I got two boxes today from Fireforge games, the Teutonic knights and mounted sargents. They will be a modest start in my whfb bretonnia army. The reason is that I have discovered there actually lives players in this small town! And with "bretonnians" I can still be pretty historical! :)
The models are so awesome I dont know where to begin, so detailed and full of character! What I thought would be a puny 1000 pointer seems to be a fully mustered army with several troop types and regiments!

Decals decals decals...
Well, there sure is a lot of decals on a bird in this scale... I will need a decal fixing liquid to make them smoother, but I wont be finished anytime soon anyway! :)

Oh yeah, a new year... Doh!
So, here is the current state of my to do list for 2012:
The TANK ✓
US FoF force ✓
Insurgent FoF force ✓
Middle eastern village ✓
Tiny Town ✓
Viking Warband ✓
Bradley Diorama
Tiny armies
Coastal gameboard section
Them British napoleonics
Let's bring it down to topics:
The TANK ✓
Bradley Diorama ✓
I got the Chally for X-mas 2011 from my GF, it spurred my modelling interest in larger scale and so I made a Bradley and a Tiger too in this wonderful scale, not to mention the unopened PzIV, T-85 and S-Tank I have.
US FoF force ✓
Insurgent FoF force ✓
Middle eastern village ✓
This stuff was great fun and quick to build, but as I wouldn't find opponents I sold/traded it for basically the same but in 6mm, plus a lot of cold war stuff!
Tiny Town ✓
Done and still waiting for a use..
Viking Warband ✓
A part of the FoF trade which was fun to paint and will hopefully grow.
Tiny armies
Well, while some is painted, other stuff pushed them down the ladder..
Coastal gameboard section
Still as unpainted as for some 16 months ago.
Them British napoleonics
They got reinforcements and a lot more painted, still there is a great bunch of lobsters to do!
So, that was the planned things. What else did I do? I will certainly forget a thing or two, but I started with Dropzone Commander, and got it just before Maelstorm went south. Another new game is Bolt Action which I am currently painting my yanks for in 20mm. A far better scale than Warlords 28mm. Less expensive, and it makes a small table big! Plus I had a box full of 20mm stuff to begin with.
I have also tried my wings on an aircraft model, still in the painteworks, but I like it more and more. This blog will see more of these. Perhaps the most important part this year for gaming purpose is that I have found players in my area. GW gamers mostly, but nothing beats a good ol proxy army so I have some of Fireforges Teutons galloping their way here to take the banner from the Bretonnians on the gaming table. I have played a bit of Magic again too, a nice quick way to get a game or two down in no time, but the modeling sure is missing from that game!
For 2013 I plan not to plan anything. I will still have a list of Projects, but they are for when I feel like it rather than a year.
Finally I would like to thank all you readers and especially all you great guys who help me with tips and motivation, thanks!

Bolt Action Americans

Before Xmas I got a thick letter from a little island west of here out in the atlantic, and inside were a number of bags filled with 20mm americans waiting to be painted, and then they waited a little longer.. But today before work they got primed, and when I got home I spent some time painting for the first time in quite some while.
The picture do them no justice, but I save quality for when they are done.

So slow progress...
Well, lets just say that life has come between me and my work. But I have made some progress on my new shiny Infinity models, and this week I both got some 20mm americans for Bolt Action and also a little X-mas gift from Eng over at kampgruppe-engel.blogspot.com more on that later. :)
