I recently saw an very inspiring article of a guy who painted a great many 1:72 scale models of swedish 1700-th soldiers. As I have a few of those figures I thought that I could as well paint up some of them to make an army or two for a nice DBA extension that has army lists for the years between 1500-1900. I decided to make a swedish and danish army from 1721. Here is the work so far:

Cygnar city wall. Part IV
Last night I finished the gates to the city, using cardboard and a lot of tiny needles. I only pinpricked myself once!

Cygnar city wall. Part III
Today I've been busy cutting popsicle-sticks in half, but the result is much more fun. I also found some old MageKnight scenario bits to add some detail. Lastly I found small gravel in a plant shop when I bought some orchid soil. Perfect for the courtyard!

Cygnar city wall. Part II
Today's update:
I have added some details, a lot of filler and gravel.. The picture speaks for itself...
I still haven't decided how I want to make the ground inside the walls, either I kill another cereal package and continue like the road, or something else.
