Modern metal men!

Almost a month since last update, but I have been busy with a lot of things such as work, taking a week long pottery class and driven a diesel volvo on swedens one and only F-1 track. I'm awesome, hell yeah!

On to the relevant stuff, I have been painting a little, but it sure was some weeks ago. I received a little package from Elhiem and I must say that my first impression of their minis was:
Shit... now I have to replace all my plastics!

No I haven't seen the hurt locker, isn't that a movie about an evil closet?

A SoF/Contractor unit perhaps?

Who doesn't need spiritual leaders clad in weirdo robes in the heat of insurgency?

There are some Iraqi minis in the pipeline as well, and after the pottery class I visited my parent's and took over my little brothers 1/35 ww2 Tiger as he didn't want to finish it, woo! I also grabbed a big mysterious box that hasn't been opened since -93... Heavy with nerdpoints, I dragged it all the way here and it is waiting for the right moment to unleach the inner geekdemons furry fury!

Oh, and a Dropzone Commander army is on preorder.

    1. Sorry, I don't exactly remember how I did them, but a light sand colored base with some tiny stripes of one darker and 3 lighter shades with a 00 brush, and a very thin black wash followed by a little less thin brown wash. Thats about it.
I tend to mix my colors as I go along, and mixing several brands too, so it would be hard to tell exactly what colors I used.
