The objective; to cut through 12 thin wooden pieces.
Result; cheap tools break, normal priced tools wont break.
Summary; As all to often, you get what you pay for. But to be fair, the cheap one does come with a handle.

Just a quick photo of a slow progress. I have a ton of projects going on and I have even more to do with the terrain buisness, so for now I put the russians in the box again and will try to catch up on some laser cut buildings that need paint and pictures.
I really need a mancave/office.
I have two roman DBA armies, but only one gallic. Solution: more Gauls! I am currently reading Mr. Scarrows excellent roman novels so I hope I have the inspiration to finish my roman armies as well as my new box of fun.
Oh, and that cygnar stormwall still in its box should be given some attention too.
I got home yesterday from a long time out in the dark forests with lots of old and new friends, battles, fireballs, blood rituals, sneaking, demons and magic.
I am still dead tired and find new bruises all the time and I just love this feeling! Thanks guys!
Back home is this package waiting for me with a Cygnar Stormwall, X-wing and some magnets. Another good week it will be!
Some black on the weapons, wheels and tracks. And two washes to make the details pop. I think I will add a light drybrushed highlight and then move on to the base. Its nice to paint these minis as even if I dont really have the time I can go over all of them in just a small time with a little paint.
I have begun to paint the russians, still some washes and detailing to do and the base of course. They sure are tiny, weird that I cant finish them quicker! :)
I thought I should share my basing for the 6mm models. A steel washer, filler, some pebbles and sand. All primed and ready for paint!
