Trees

I made some trees, and these are for sale by "tradera" Swedens own E-bay: Link

I plan to make more of these, and I think I can make them even better. I'll post here when they are up for sale.
If you happen to live outside Sweden and want some, just comment here and we will work something out. :)

Tiny boccage table finished

Now the table is finished, just painted the edges black so they won't stick out so much.
The trees are handmade from wire, and I have soaked all the foilage with a watered down white glue after the initial gluing so it will stick, and it's much harder too.

I really like how this came out, and for a smaller Song of X or FoF game the size is quite good. The paper houses I made earlier can be used here too.

The different tiles match up against each other, so the layout can be varied from time to time.

A Tiger on a hill, overlooking the fields and spotting the Shermans soon be aware of its precence!
Shermans rolling down a dusty road, is there something ahead? Oh, the tension of a tank!

Tiny boccage table

So, having decided that my tiny town need a countryside, I cut some masonite in 20x20 cm squares and glued a 5mm styrofoam sheet over it so I could cut out some depressions, ditches and add a river tile or two later on. I added a small hill to. I splashed over some filler where I had cut the tiles, and when it dried, white glue/water + sand.
Melvin loves unpainted styrofoam, I think he ate some cut out pieces...

Painted with some brown, grey + desert yellow highlight on the roads. Painted styrofoam is no good to eat apparently.

How to hold and behold?

Just two pics on how I hold the minis I paint, first plastic shot glasses for 20-28mm minis:

And screws for the really tiny stuff:

Blue-tac/sticky clay/whatever is really helpful if you aren't that good at balancing stuff.

Shermans vs Tigers

I had some skytrex minis HoTT based a while ago, but since then I have found lots of interesting websites, such as this with too much inspiration to let my poor minis look like drybrush victims of a broom. I took some of them of their bases again, and gave them some real paintjob!
I begun with some base color, then a thin black wash, a second base color for the tigers, and a highlight before painting tracks and freehanding stars and crosses.

Too bad I can't seem to get good macro shots, I tried a lot of different lights, the sun is recharged and even then I cant really seem to get the real color on the pictures. Well, here they are, enjoy and remember, they are in 1/300 scale, a man is supposed to be 6mm next to these "beasts" (bugs?).

The tiger looks big when placed next to the sherman, but not when placed next to anyting else!

Small Town 2

I have begun to base some of the houses, more details to the bases will be added, but you can see how they are coming along now.

I have finished some more buildings that are awaiting bases, but these will be different as they will be situated in a town instead of the countryside.

Small Town

Damn! That 6mm bug really bit me.. And that GHQ has a lot of paper buildings for free on their website did'nt help either. On another 6mm site I found the inspiration I needed to give paper buildings a serious go. With a little nice basing I think they will be as good as any 6mm resin building, and cheaper!
I have just started, but I have quite a few more papers to cut and glue!

The bases are 1mm plywood, thanks dad!
